Level of Support: API Internships

On-Site Staff:

Each API location will have on-site API staff to assist students. They will provide a three day workplace and cultural orientation that will cover topics such as: host country work environment, the local culture, career-related workshops and cultural activities.

The API staff may offer informal meet-ups with other interns during your program, but due to all interns having varying hours, all events planned by API will be optional. The API staff is available to assist should you have any concerns that arise during your time abroad.

Health & Disability Resources:

If you have any health concerns or will need any disability resources during your internship, please reach out to the coordinator so that a conversation with API can begin. Not all locations will be able to provide the level of support that the United States of America provides.

More Information:

If you still have questions on level of support, you can contact the Study Abroad Coordinator listed on the main program page.

After acceptance into the program, you will obtain more information about services, at your program location, in your program guide and in orientation materials.
