Level of Support: USAC Cuba

On-Site Staff:

A USAC-Cuba Resident Director is located on-site to provide services specifically for USAC students. The Resident Director coordinates an airport pick-up for students who participate in the USAC Group Flight option, as well as an orientation upon arrival and they are there to help students adjust to the local culture. The Resident Director will also assist in arranging accommodation. The Resident Director is available to students as much or as little as they need them.

USAC does provide field trips that are included in the program fees, as well as optional tours and field studies which are available at an additional cost. To see some past excursions, click here.

Health & Disability Resources:

If you become sick or injured, the Resident Director is able to assist you in finding a local medical facility. They are also able to be present to assist you in translating, if a language barrier does exist.

USAC will do their best to accommodate any disabilities, but services cannot be guaranteed or may be different than what you are used to in the United States. Please contact the Study Abroad Coordinator to begin exploring what services might be available to you.

More Information:
