Level of Support: England Faculty-Led Immersion

On-Site Resources:

This is a faculty-led immersion program, which means you will travel with 10-12 other UW-Eau Claire students and 2 UW-Eau Claire faculty/staff. The 2018 course will be team-taught by Dr. Colleen Duffy (Mathematics) and Dr. Paul Thomas (Physics & Astronomy). They will be your first step for any on-site support you need.

Health & Disability Resources:

The program is based at the University of Winchester, which has an on-campus nurse during the week, as well as a team of counselors to support students.  During guided excursions to nearby sites, local guides will be able to provide nearby quality doctors or hospitals.

More Information:

If you still have questions on level of support, you can contact Shanti Freitas (Faculty-Led Immersion Coordinator) by calling 715-836-6037 or emailing

After acceptance into the program, you will obtain more information about services, at your program location, in your program guide and in orientation materials.
