Level of Support: Math and Physics Faculty-Led Immersion

On-Site Resources:

This is a faculty-led immersion program, which means you will travel with 10-12 other UW-Eau Claire students and 2 UW-Eau Claire faculty/staff. The 2019 course will be team-taught by Dr. Colleen Duffy (Mathematics) and Dr. Paul Thomas (Physics & Astronomy). They will be your first step for any on-site support you need.

Health & Disability Resources:

Each city you visit has quality medical facilities should you need them. A portion of the program is based at the University of Aberdeen, which has on-campus medical facilities. Additionally, our local partners can recommend quality doctors or hospitals nearby.

More Information:

If you still have questions on level of support, you can contact Kim Reed (Assistant Faculty-Led Immersion Coordinator) by calling 715-836-5940 or emailing

After acceptance into the program, you will obtain more information about services, at your program location, in your program guide and in orientation materials.
