Level of Support: Scotland Faculty-Led Immersion

On-Site Resources:

This is a faculty-led immersion program, which means you will travel with 18-20 other UW-Eau Claire students and 3 UW-Eau Claire faculty/staff. The summer 2019 program will be led by Dr. Rose Battalio (Special Education) and Art Brandt (Special Education) and one other faculty TBD. They will be your first step for any on-site support you need. You will also have interaction with Scottish families and teachers throughout the program who can be resources for any questions or concerns you have.

Health & Disability Resources:

Each city you visit has quality medical facilities should you need them. A portion of the program is based at the University of Aberdeen, which has on-campus medical facilities. Additionally, our local partners and host families can recommend quality doctors or hospitals nearby.

More Information:

If you still have questions on level of support, you can contact Jeff DeGrave (Intercultural Immersion Coordinator) by calling 715-836-4471 or emailing degravjr@uwec.edu.

After acceptance into the program, you will obtain more information about services, at your program location, in your program guide and in orientation materials.
