Level of Support: India Faculty-Led Immersion

On-Site Resources:

This is a faculty-led immersion program, which means you will travel with 10-12 other UW-Eau Claire students and 2 UW-Eau Claire faculty/staff. The Winterim 2020 program will be led by UWEC faculty to be determined. They will be your first step for any on-site support you need. You will also be paired with an Indian student buddy at SRCC, who can be a resource for any questions you might have.

Health & Disability Resources:

The program is based on the Shri Ram College of Commerce at the University of Delhi, which has a health facility located nearby the college. Healthcare services to Indian students are provided through World University Service (WUS) Health Centre located on campus at the University of Delhi. The Health Centre provides Outpatient Department facilities and medicines to the patients. It also provides necessary emergency medical services to the patients. The local partners during the Mumbai portion of the program can provide nearby English-speaking doctors or hospitals.

More Information:

If you still have questions on level of support, you can contact Jeff DeGrave (Intercultural Immersion Coordinator) by calling 715-836-4471 or emailing degravjr@uwec.edu.

After acceptance into the program, you will obtain more information about services, at your program location, in your program guide, and in orientation materials.
