Anneli Williams, a German/Geography honors graduate in December 2016 and Marburg, Germany (Spring 2015) study abroad alum, was recently awarded a 2017-2018 Fulbright U.S. Student grant to study and conduct research at Phillips-Universität Marburg, Marburg, Germany. Her project combines GIS and linguistics to map dialects.

On top of the Fulbright award, each year, the Steuben-Schurz-Gesellschaft selects just one Fulbright student, from the ~70 Fulbright recipients to receive an additional scholarship. This year, Anneli was selected and awarded the Berlin Air Lift Scholarship, Steuben-Schurz-Gellsellschaft for 3,000 euro. Congratulations to Anneli and all of her accomplishments!
