Level of Support: Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP), Puebla, Mexico

On-Site Staff:

UPAEP International Staff offers student support services to international students during their time abroad. UPAEP organizes a four day orientation at the beginning of each semester to help students adjust to their new surroundings. Students participating on the summer program will have a one day orientation upon arrival.  UPAEP staff also arranges housing for students by carefully selecting Spanish-speaking host families for the best immersion experience.

Health & Disability Resources:

UPAEP campus has both a small and large health clinic, as well as mental health facilities. You can access the clinics with your UPAEP ID for free, including the emergency center. If you need to go to a hospital, a member of your host family will accompany you.

UPAEP will do their best to accommodate any disabilities, but services cannot be guaranteed or may be different than what you are used to in the United States. Please contact the Study Abroad Coordinator to begin exploring what services might be available to you.

More Information:

If you still have questions on level of support, you can contact the Study Abroad Coordinator listed on the main program page.

After acceptance into the program, you will obtain more information about services, at your program location, in your program guide and in orientation materials.
